I am a computer science major, however I am still undecided on a career.  At this point and time, I feel in my heart that God is leading me to a career in youth ministry.  I have a intense love and desire for teens.  It is my hearts desire to reach out to them, to encourage them, and to let them know that there is a place in this world for them and that there is a hope that is found in Jesus Christ.  I am currently a youth worker at my church, First Baptist Church of McAllen Texas.  My main thing I help out with is I am the youth group's webmaster and I also help out with the media during Wednesday night services.   I also help out during special events and where help is needed.

I've also written several homepage from scratch.  The big one that I work on now is a website in dedication and in memory of Columbine High School martyr Rachel Joy Scott.  Out of all the website's I've done, this one is the most dear to me.  I have poured my heart and soul into it.  Rachel's life and legacy has had a amazing impact upon my life.  God used her to bring me back to Him.  You can read more about it on my website to Rachel. 

Another website (I mentioned a few paragraphs up) that is really dear to my heart and that I have poured my heart into it is the Lighthouse Student Ministries site.  This site is the official site for the First Baptist Church of McAllen youth group.  The youth of the church are awesome, they have a true desire to seek after God and His will for their lives.  And to me it is a inspiration and encouragement to see teens on fire for God.

Other websites I have done include a website on a favorite ship of mine called the Texas Treasure.  On this site you can find anything from deck plans to cruise schedule.  I also do several other websites, including a website for Mexican singer Priscila Y Sus Balas De Plata, website for my brother's church.  And I am the original webmaster for www.caedmonscall.com

Ok, enough on the web stuff.  About me? Well, I'm sort of a shy person, I always have been. But after reaching my 20s, and after meeting Doris, whom is now my ex girlfriend, I haven't been so shy and have been more open and confident when talking or approaching people.    She helped me come out of my shell of shyness that I was in during my high school years.  She helped me be more open when talking with people. 

I'm just a normal every day guy. I don't try and be anyone special or someone who I'm not. I always try to be a humble person. I live my life to the fullest everyday and try to make the best out of ever situation, even if it is a negative one. I try to appreciate the life the good Lord has blessed me with.

My main source of strength comes from God.  I recently re dedicated my life to God, in Feb 02 to be exact.  I've learned to trust in Him in all that I do.  He has become as real as the ground I walk on.  You can read more about my faith and my testimony by checking out my testimony.

Some interests in my life, is my study of ocean liners/cruise ships of the past and present.   I love being out at sea and when I can, I'm always out on the Texas Treasure or one of the off-shore party fishing boats, The Texas Hospitality and Osprey.

When I have the time, I'm on the Internet, writing homepages and trying to expand my computer abilities. I love music.  Music is another big part of my life and if it wasn't for the music I listen to, I don't know how I would have made it though the rough spots in my life.  Jump on over to my music section of my site to see some of the bands and artists I like.
